I paint in Paris, surrounded by the faces I create — each one carries a fragment of memory, culture, and emotion that I seek to make visible.
Welcome to my world.
Every element of this painting carries a precise meaning. The baobab, the ultimate tree of memory, anchors the scene in an identity that crosses generations without ever breaking. The winding path toward the horizon tells a journey — the one we travel between where we come from and where we are going. The birds carry what words cannot say: they come and go, messengers between worlds.
And on the headscarf, a mask watches — discreet, almost invisible, like those ancestral figures we carry without always seeing them, yet who never truly leave us.
A face that carries an entire landscape, melted into the skin like a memory that never fades.
Beneath calm waters, a turtle keeps watch, a silent witness to a world that transforms without ever losing itself. A fisherman crosses the scene in a small boat, a fragment of everyday life woven into the ocean's movement.
The geometric collage on the forehead dialogues with the fluidity of the rest of the face — like two states of the same identity, one constructed, the other in perpetual motion.
Metamorphosis, or the idea that we never truly stop becoming.
